Tickets are now on sale for Altantic Theater Company’s world premiere of Gabe McKinley’s CQ/CX. Directed by David Leveau, performances begin January 25 at off-Broadway's Peter Norton Space (formerly the home of Signature Theatre Company), with opening night set for February 15. The limited engagement runs through March 4.
The world premiere stars two-time Tony nominee David Pittu as Junior, Tony nominee Larry Bryggman as Frank King, Peter Jay Fernandez as Gerald Haynes, Tim Hopper as Ben, Arliss Howard as Hal Martin, Kobi Libii as Jay Bennett, Steve Rosen as Jacob Sherman and Sheila Tapia as Monica Soria.
Inspired by McKinley's own experience as a journalist, CQ/CX tells the story of Jay, an up and coming black reporter at The New York Times, who finds his dreams of becoming a famous journalist crashing down as he becomes the center of a plagiarism scandal.
